American Sycamore
Botanical Name: (Platanus occidentalis)
Quartered sycamore displays a prominent lace pattern of pink on cream, or, most commonly, light brown on cream. It works like the softer varieties of mahogany and makes for a very light weight guitar. Quartered American sycamore can have very striking figure with it's lacey medullary rays.
