Bloodwood is a very dense wood with remarkable bell like tap tone. Reminds me of some of the denser rosewoods like Honduran and African Blackwood. It also makes great fretboards, bridge blanks, bindings, headplates etc. Bends without much difficulty. Try it. You'll Like it.
