Botanical Name: (Acacia Melanoxylon)
Also known as Australian Blackwood, Black Acacia is a not-to-distant cousin of the koa tree (Koa is itself an acacia) and offers many of the features of the popular Hawaiian wood. The wood works and behaves very much like Mahogany.
